One of the temple can be visited are the Todaiji Temple. Suspected wooden building in this temple is the largest in the world. Besides being one of the most famous temple in Japan, this temple is also a landmark of the city of Nara. Located in Nara Park, in central Nara, Todaiji Temple which was built in 752 is intended as a center of Buddhist temples in all provinces of Japan.

Some typical features that you can see here is Nandaimon (13th century). This feature can be found at the main entrance of the temple. This feature describes two impressive from Nio statue carved in 1203, which each have more than 8 feet wide. Next there is the main temple building Todajji, Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall). This is said to be the largest wooden building in the world. The fact that suggests that reconstruction is now (from 1692) only two-thirds of the original size of the temple. This is the remains of the largest monasteries in Britain which in 1987 was awarded World Heritage status. Visit the Fountains Abbey from the west, you will be presented with the best vision across the Abbey Green to the minster. On the right side of this site, you’ll also see little River Skell. Since the old river Skell provide an important water source for the monastery.

Turning to the south side of the church, you can see the various buildings in the cluster monastery. Meanwhile, behind the monastery towards the east, widespread land Studley Royal Park is waiting for you. Back to the past, this abbey church construction began in 1135. Over time, the remains of the building is now a natural carpet of grass and open to the sky. The building of this medieval church is one of the most impressive sights in England.
