Karimunjawa offers tours of the exotic sea. He has a beautiful underwater gardens and I am happy with the environment in karimunjawa still beautiful and has not been touched by many people, not like Bali which have been very busy and crowded. Thus, he is still regarded as worthy of ‘virgin’. The sea is still very clean, and the environment is very far from the bustle of development. Karimunjawa many communities rely on the livelihoods as fishermen.
For me, Karimun is a ‘hidden pearls’ Java. Just need a little polish so it will gleam, polish it is the development of infrastructure and good marketing. I would be very happy if karimunjawa could ultimately become one of the leading Indonesian tourism.
The trip to Karimun organized by Indonesia with its coordinator Mata Mas Ari Ocon and Mba. Our trip to Karimun travel by road using the bus. Our meeting point is in Terminal Rawamangun, and right at about 20:30 pm we depart from Terminal to the Port Rawamangun in Jepara Kartini. Total travel time between Port and Rawamangun Kartini is approximately 11 hours! indeed tiring and quite make the buttocks become numb, but with the beauty tours offered karimunjawa later, I have always believed that it was worth a gamble. From Port Kartini, then we crossed by ferry to karimunjawa for approximately 8 hours. Actually there is another pedestrian transportation modes that are faster, the speed boat from the port of Semarang, if climbing fast boat would only take between 2-3 hours. It’s just naturally a rather expensive cost.
In karimunjawa, we stayed at Wisma Pumice. Floating homestead is situated on the sea and not far from the mainland, probably only about 2 km. What makes the Floating House special is because he lies on the sea allows us to swim whenever we want. Stay out of the room and went straight into the sea nyebur. Then, in the House of floating a new electricity can be used when the night because the electricity supply can only be given from diesel-fueled generators. Sleeping at night was another interesting experience in Wisma cages because it’s so cold. Cold is not generated from the AC but because the sea breeze that always roaring loudly at night, so it is best we have to get ready for training pants or sarong if you want to stay at Wisma Pumice.
The next day after we arrived, we immediately visited both snorkeling in three places, namely Pulau Tanjung Gelam, Mejangan Island and Small Island Pines.
The island and Pulau Tanjung Gelam Mejangan offers a beautiful underwater garden. Sand so white here, and sea water was so clear until our feet could be seen with great clarity when swimming at the shore, though there is no trash on the island and it was really like in nirvana (paradise) because the scenery around makes the heart so calm. Me and my friends behave like small children who get the toys when her birthday gift, we were screaming with excitement, praising each other and the places we visit our endlessly self-perpetuating in that place into jeprat snap photos endless.
Small Island Pines offers a nice place to be a shooting location. Even Small Island Pines is probably the best spot to took some photos than any other island. There we took a picture with a variety of poses, from the style of jumping, somersaults style, style Jayus, until we try any style. I myself spent about 15-20 minutes to lie down and try to enjoy nature is what I admire this. In my heart I say I’m grateful to enjoy this beauty with new friends is fun-fun, too.
Like the Island of Cape and Island Mejangan Gelam, sand on the island of Pines, so white and water so clear without the trash though, so we clean up does not ‘bear’ to dispose of plastic waste our snack food packaging. When the time late in the afternoon we also have to be ‘willing’ to return to the House of pumice with a heavy heart.
On the way back to the House of pumice, we are taking the time to drop by a shark farm located not too far from the House of Floating. Sharks tame-tame here, enabling us to swim in the pool. The only pool which is forbidden to use swimming pool Baracuda Baracuda is considering predatory fish and can not be tamed. Funny how it felt when swimming in the middle of a pack of sharks without getting ‘interference’ of any kind. Sharks are the ignorant melalang transversely in front of me as if this is “lu lu cave cave.”
When on the way home, I felt my heart left in karimunjawa, “I left my heart at karimunjawa”, I always remember the trip to Karimun is my best trip so far. Until now, no, I never tired to stop telling my friends how wonderful karimunjawa. There has been no single place that offers the same beauty offered karimunjawa. Someday my friends and promised to return to karimunjawa and try to surf other islands besides Gelam Cape Island, Isle of Pines Mejangan and Small Island.
