Bahamas – from the steel mar in Spanish which means shallow seas or ba-ha-ma in Lucayan (indigenous Bahamas), which means large upper middle land, is a Commonwealth country that capital is Nassau. Countries with a population of around 350,000 people have islands – small islands of white sand, the famous among them is the Cat Island, Harbor Island and Crocked Island and located in the Atlantic Ocean, bordering with the United States, Cuba and the Caribbean.
